Edna "Lucille” Simmons Papadakis

Edna “Lucille” Simmons Papadakis, age 89, of Sebring, FL, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, June 5, 2021.  She was born June 11, 1931 in Munson, FL to Lindsey Wade and Mamie Adella (Black) Simmons. Edna met her husband while he was in Naval flight training in Pensacola, got married and enjoyed raising her family in the Chicago area. She loved traveling the world with her husband John and looked forward to joining him in heaven. She is survived by her Daughter – Kathryn Marston (Mike) of Sanibel, FL; Son – John Papadakis, Jr. of Hollywood, FL; Grandchildren – Michael, Nicole, Jennifer; and Great Grandson – Chase.  She is preceded in death by her Husband – John A. Papadakis.
