Edgar A. Scott, age 77 passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Elba, Illinois to Harry G. and Clessie (Wooden) Scott. He was an X Ray Technician, member of the Walker Seventh Day Adventist Church; he served in the United States Army during the Korean War and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1978 coming from Jellico, Tennessee; he enjoyed watching baseball and spending time with his family and friends and his two dogs-Ginger and Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 48 years-Glena Scott of Avon Park, Florida; daughter-Elaine Mandzuk (Steve) of Daytona Beach, Florida; son-David Scott (Pam) of Orlando, Florida; brother-Kenneth Scott of Branson, Missouri; sister-Mary Goransson of Fletcher, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Walker Seventh Day Adventist Church with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Boling officiating.
