Edgar Allen Hudson, Jr.

Edgar "ED" Allen Hudson, Jr., age 74 passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. Mr. Hudson was born in Irvine, Kentucky on August 7, 1938 to Edgar Allen and Francis Irene (Fyffe) Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a Real Estate Entrepreneur, he enjoyed swimming, boating, flying airplanes, dancing, collecting antiques and experiencing life, and he was a member of the Elks and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1998 coming from San Diego, California. He is survived by his significant other and best friend-Joan Blaine of Avon Park, Florida; children-Frankie J. Lucio (Charles) of San Diego, California, Kathy Sue Hudson -Judy (Anthony) of Franklin, West Virginia and Julie Ann Hudson-Roop of Houston, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Glenada RV Mobile Home Park, 2525 US 27 South, Avon Park, Florida 33825. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main Street, Suite 204, Damascus, Maryland 20872.
