EARLE O. HOPKINS, JR. Earle O. Hopkins, Jr., 76, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Sebring. He was born June 8, 1934, to Earl O. and Helen (Johnson) Hopkins in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1989, coming from Amesbury, MA. He was an Engineer in the Missile and Aerospace industry and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hopkins, Sebring; sons, Mark Hopkins, Bartow, FL and Douglas (Patricia) Hopkins, Amesbury, MA; daughter, Dawn (Dennis) Gamelin, Tampa, FL; brother, Francis Hopkins, Rockledge, Fl and four grandchildren. Memorial Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Pastor Jonathan Adams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his memory to The American Cancer Society of The Diabetes Foundation.
