Earl Lloyd Cheek

EARL LLOYD CHEEK Earl Lloyd Cheek, 91, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 in Sebring. He was born January 8, 1919, to Walter and Millie (Ballinger) Cheek in Franklin, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1993, coming from Richmond, Indiana. He was a Supervisor in the manufacturing industry; a member of the Church of the Brethren and a 50 year member of the Masons. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Cheek of Sebring and Doris Harrington, Lake Mary, FL; sister, Eula Therrin, Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Calvin Cheek, Greenville, OH and Robert Cheek, Richmond, IN; one grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Cheek; son, Terry Allen Cheek and brother, Harry Cheek. Memorial services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Rev. Cecil Hess and Rev. Keith Simmons officiating. Donations may be made in his memory to Four Mile Church of the Brethren in Liberty, Indiana or Good Shepherd Hospice, 4418 Sun N Lake Blvd., Sebring, Fl 33872.
