Earl Paul Chasse

Lehigh Acres

Earl "Paul" Chasse, 87, passed away on September 1, 2024, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Born on September 13, 1936, in Biddeford, Maine, to the late Alfred and Yvonne Chasse, Paul led a life of adventure, service, and love.

Paul dedicated 27 years of his life to serving his country in the U.S. Army, earning the Bronze Star for his exemplary service. His military career took him overseas, where he spent much of his time in Germany, forming deep connections and finding love. It was there he met and married both his wives.

A proud and loving father, Paul is survived by his son Ronald Chasse of Biddeford, ME; his siblings, Russell Chasse of Biddeford, ME, and Andrea Chasse of Lyman, ME; and his cherished grandchildren, Sarah M. Chasse, Tiffany A. Chasse, and Veronica A. Chasse. He was preceded in death by his beloved wives, Ursula Sofie Chasse and Ursula Chasse.

Paul's adventurous spirit began in childhood, where he was known for his pranks and love of laughter. As a young man, he embraced life fully, often seen riding his motorcycle with a sense of freedom and joy. His father, Alfred, encouraged him to join the military after high school, a path that would define much of his life.

In 2004, Paul moved to Sebring, Florida, where he became an active member of the community, joining organizations like the VFW, DAV, and Moose Lodge. There, he made lasting friendships, enjoyed dinners out, and could often be found sharing a cocktail with friends, always counting his blessings and spreading his unique brand of kindness and humor.

Paul will be remembered for his bravery, independence, kindness, and joyful outlook on life. He was a social, happy man who lived with gratitude and brought warmth to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
