EARL FRANCIS CARTER, JR. Earl Francis Carter, Jr., 71, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011, in Sebring. He was born October 18, 1939, to Earl Francis and Vera (Blodgett) Carter in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2005, coming from Douglas, Massachusetts. He was a truck driver, employed in the trucking industry and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He was a member of The Way Church in Sebring and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his companion, Flora Romeiro; sons, Daryl Carter, Robert Carter, David Carter, John Romeiro and Paul Romeiro; daughters, Tracy Desruisseaux, Ashley Carter, Darlene Kilpatrick, Kathy Hoyt, Nancy Breting, Lori Taylor and Roberta Cove; grandchildren, Gavin, Jacob, Benjamin, Sam, Nathan, Lilliana, Ashley, Joel, Isabella, Luke, Miranda, Daniel, Dustin, Christopher, William, Andy, Adam, Allen, Natasha, Kasey and John and great-grandson, Domanick. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Florida Hospital Heartland Foundation, P. O. Box 9400, Sebring, Florida 33871-9400. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at The Way Church, 1005 N. Ridgewood Drive, Sebring, Florida 33870.
