Douglas Sharp, age 84, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on April 16, 1931 in Waterloo, Alabama to the late Oliver Lee and Beatrice (Dean) Sharp. Douglas was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jacqueline Sharp, two daughters, Andrea Gleaves (Richard)-Sebring, FL and Patricia Sharp-Murfreesboro, TN, two sons, Mark Sharp (JoAnne)-Murfreesboro, TN and William Sharp (Cheryl)-Woodbury, TN, eighteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren. Douglas was preceded in death by one son: Michael Weaver.
