DOUGLAS J. SCHOLL Douglas J. Scholl, 78, of Sebring, FL, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009. He was born June 10, 1931 to Henry and Gladys (Lyng) Scholl in Thendara, New York. He had been a resident of Sebring since 2004 coming from Whitesboro, New York. He worked as a Technical Engineer for a Corrugated Cardboard Packaging company and retired in 1995. He served as a veteran in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957; lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in New Hartford, NY; was very active in the Tanglewood Community and attended Tanglewood Community Church in Sebring. He is survived by his Wife, Audrey Scholl Sebring; Son, Jeffrey Scholl (Susan) Beaver, PA; Daughters, Nancy Fowlkes (Daniel) Cuba, NY; Cynthia Simson (Robert) East Yaphank, NY; Linda Reisert (Jeffrey) Plymouth, NH; 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 1:00pm at Tanglewood Community Church. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Zion Lutheran Church; 630 French Road, New Hartford, NY, 13413.
