Douglas R. Boss

Douglas R. Boss, age 71 years, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Lake Placid, Florida. He was born on March 6, 1945 in Charlevoix, Michigan to Edward and Thelma (Decker) Boss.  He moved to the area in 1994 from Palm Beach County.  He loved grading the road and working with his tractor.  He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.  Survivors include his wife-Barbara Boss of Lake Placid, FL; children-Tami Boss, Sebring, FL; Kelly Hysong (Mark), West Palm Beach, FL; Brother-Leslie Boss (Marsha), Boynton Beach, FL; Grandchildren-John Hysong; Nicolas Fielding; Kamille Fielding and James Hysong.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 19, 2016, 4:00 pm, at First Presbyterian Church in Sebring with Reverend Darrell Peer officiating.  Memorial Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 319 Poinsettia Ave., Sebring, FL 33870 or Vitas Hospice, 106 Medical Center Ave. #106, Sebring, FL 33870.
