Dorothy Lucille Thornton

Dorothy Lucille Thornton, age 95 ran into heaven on two strong legs November 11, 2019, leaving behind her dear family and friends to cherish her bright smile and positive attitude. She will be greatly missed. She was born February 20, 1924 to Harry and Carrie (Hart) Zeeff.  She was a longtime member of Grace Reformed Church in Wyoming, Michigan and a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 1992, coming from Wyoming, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her husband Vern Thornton and son Steven Thornton. Dorothy is survived by her Daughter-Theo Becker (Rob) of Grand Rapids, Michigan- Son-Scott Thornton (Nancy) of Wyoming, Michigan; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; brother-in-law Jack Thornton (Gerry) and many special nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Her wish was for everyone to know the peace and love of Jesus Christ as their Savior, as she did.
