Dorothy Gentry Mount

Dorothy Gentry Mount, age 93, went to be with her Lord at 2:40 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Good Shepherd Hospice - Bud and Donna Somers House in Sebring, Florida. Dorothy was born March 21, 1920 in Marion, Illinois to Clarence and Esta (Keistler) Stokes. She married William E. "Duban" Gentry in Marion, Illinois on September 23, 1948, he preceded her in death. She married Earle E. Mount on October 1, 1982, who also preceded her in death. Dorothy was a homemaker and mother to two daughters, one son and two step-daughters. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Sebring, Florida. Dorothy is survived by son Doug (Suzie) Gentry of Avon Park, FL; daughters, Melinda Lehnherr of Springfield, IL; Beth Ann (Michael) Scanlan of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; grandchildren, Greg Gentry, Tiffany Tillery, Jason Boester and several great-grandchildren; step-daughters; Pam Foster, Alamo, CA; Debbie (Bob) Reynolds, Alamo, CA; step-grandchildren; Curt Foster, Jamie Lyn Pierce, Daren Yafai, Kim Donati, and several step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; infant sister, Marjorie Stokes and infant brother, Harold Eugene Stokes. Services will be on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois, with Rev. Tim Ozment officiating. Interment will be in The Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy, Illinois.
