Dorothy Jean Langstine

Dorothy Jean Langstine, age 83, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Elmira, New York to Howard and Dorothy (Sawyer) Coddington. She was a School Tax Collector, member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1984 coming from Elmira, New York; she enjoyed dancing, knitting, spending time on Keuka Lake in New York and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 63 years-Thomas H. Langstine of Sebring, Florida; sons-Thomas M. Langstine (Diana) of Livingston, Texas, James E. Langstine (Sandra) of Punta Gorda, Florida and Lawrence R. Langstine (Carole) of Elmira Heights, New York; brother-Howard Coddington (Mary Ann) of Winter Haven, Florida; sister-Elinor Gough (John) of Horseheads, New York; brother-in-law-Francis Langstine of Elmira, New York; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
