Dorothy “Dottie” Kathryn McPherson passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 83. The daughter of Joe and Lucille (Driggers) Jowers. She was born on March 23, 1940 in Sebring, Florida. Dorothy was a homemaker and retired author of children’s book’s. Her hobbies included crafting and writing; she was an accomplished writer. She is survived by her sons – Gregory McPherson (Kristina) of Sebring, Florida; Mark McPherson of Sebring, Florida; brother – Randy Hartsfield ( Betty). Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 10:00 am, until service time at 11:00 am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, Florida.
