Dorothy G Jones

Dorothy G. Jones, age 82, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. She was born on June 19, 1934 in New Bedford, MA to the late Richard and Mary (Smola) Percival. Dorothy had been a resident of Avon Park since 1978 having come from Miami. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was of the Catholic faith. Dorothy loved to travel, read, and watch game shows. She loved her family, cats, and sunflowers. Dorothy is survived by her husband: William N. Jones of Avon Park, FL; children: Maureen Gorman of CA; Helen Gorman of FL; Lori Foskey of FL; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL.
