Dorothy Brannon

Dorothy Brannon, 82, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, in Tampa, Florida. She was born October 2, 1930, to John and Rose (Martell) Marshall in Carolina, Rhode Island, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1992, coming from Rhode Island. She was a painter for a submarine manufacturer; a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge. She is survived by her children, Ernest Brannon of Sebring; Rose Adkins of Lake Placid, FL and Barbara (Richard) Shipps of Loveland, CO; sister, Ruth Rickson of Wisconsin; brother, Joseph Marshall of Sebring; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and nine sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013, in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, Sebring, with W. Mike Adams officiating.
