DORIS BOYD WHITT Doris Boyd Whitt, 83, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in Sebring. She was born October 29, 1928, to Den Cook and Maude (Reynolds) Boyd in Raven, Virginia, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1970, coming from Woodbridge, VA. She was a Clerical Secretary in the Banking industry; a member of Credit Women International; Avon Park Garden Club; Avon Park Historical Society and Avon Park First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Denise W. (Ron) Knudtson of Sebring; son, Charles Chuck (Linda) Whitt, Roanoke, VA; sister, Charlotte Compton, Longview, TX; brothers, Jim (Sylvia) Boyd, Richlands, VA and Den Cook Boyd, Jr., Fredricksburg, VA and four grandchildren.
