Doris E. Stanley

Doris E. Stanley, In loving memory of our mom, age 93, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 in Sebring, Fl. She was born on June 19, 1921 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Herbert Sebastian Pablo and Zelpha Ethel Suiter. Doris had been a resident of Sebring since 1980 coming from Homosassa Springs, Florida. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Guild. She was also a member of the F.A.H.C.E. (Home Extension of the AG Center through the University of Florida for 20 years). Doris loved to garden and do crafts. She loved her family, animals, caring for others, and dancing. Doris is survived by her sons: Robert C. Stanley (Anne Johnson), John W. Stanley (Judy), and daughter: Gail A. Greenwood (Jim), six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her brother: Herbert Sebastian Pablo and sister in law: Kathryn. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Stephenson Nelson Funeral home in Sebring, FL. Burial to follow service at Lakeview Memorial Garden in Avon Park, FL.
