Doris M. Dailey, age 88, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on January 14, 1927 in Alva, Florida to the late Joshua A. and Etoile J. (Allen) Williams. She came to Sebring in 1958 from Miami, Florida. She worked as a secretary and librarian for Desoto City Elementary and Fred Wild Elementary Schools, and then with the Miami Herald. Doris enjoyed oil painting and writing but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her son: Bill Dailey (Chris) and daughter: Shelly Rose (Cal) all of Sebring, FL, seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Dailey and seven brothers and sisters. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, 2:00pm, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastor Wilmont McCrary officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
