Doris Melbaline Bradley

Doris Melbaline Bradley, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Avon Park, Florida. She was born in Bowling Green, FL on July 11, 1920 to Will and Maudelle (Douglas) Purvis. She was a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Sebring and of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crafts and fishing and spending time with her family and was a lifetime resident of Sebring. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn J. Carden, Sebring, FL and son John E. Bradley, Avon Park, FL; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Bradley. Visitation will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, on Friday, January 18, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Stephenson-Nelson Chapel, with W. Mike Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
