DORIS MAE AUSTIN Doris Mae Austin, 98, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010, in Sebring. She was born April 7, 1912, to George and Annie M. (Silver) Lavely in East Burke, Vermont, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2005, coming from Vermont. She was a homemaker, attended Bible Fellowship Church in Sebring and also was a member of the East Burke Congregational Church, active in the United Workers in East Burke, Vermont. She enjoyed snow skiing in her younger years and shuffleboard at Lake Bonnett after her retirement. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Hall of Sebring; grandchildren, Jeffrey D. Hall, Winder, GA and Kevin S. (Julie) Hall, Monroe, GA and great-grandson, Jonathan. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Bible Fellowship Church, Rev. Andy McQuaid officiating. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to East Burke Congregational Church, Rt. 114, East Burke, Vermont 05832.
