Donald “Skip” Evans Zimmerman, age 91, of Sebring, Florida,
passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025. Born on August 5,
1933, in Hyde City, Pennsylvania, Skip proudly served his country

Skip was a skilled handyman who found joy and purpose in
working with his hands—especially when it came to woodwork.
Whether fixing something around the house or building something
from scratch, he brought care, precision, and pride to every
project he touched. His great sense of humor, warm spirit, and
unwavering loyalty made him not only a loving father but also a
devoted and cherished companion to his beloved partner, Joyce.
His presence brought light and laughter to every room, and his
legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the memories
he helped build.
He is lovingly survived by his loving companion, Joyce A.
McNamara; his daughter, Sandra Potter (The late Tim Potter) in
Elmira, NY; his son Donald Zimmerman (Salome) in Rockdale,
