Donald Vondell

Donald Vondell, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on February 9, 1934 to the late Alfred and Matilda (Bodah) Vondell. Donald was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army and was a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards and games, picture puzzles and he loved to travel.  Survivors include his wife: Audrey (Hasler) Vondell of Sebring, FL; children: Donald P. Vondell of Portageville, NY; Cheryl Nickerson (John III) of Nunda, NY; Debra Vondell of Rochester, NY; Steve Vondell (Brenda) of Dalton, NY; sister: Elizabeth Morton (Richard) of Brattleboro, VT; eight Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.  There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m.
