Donald Y McIntyre, Jr., beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on May 20, 2024, in Sebring, FL. He was born on December 13, 1959, in Avon Park, FL, to proud parents Donald Y McIntyre, Sr. and Gwendolyn June Edgemon, who preceded him in death.
Donnie is survived by his father, his loving wife, Shelia McIntyre, and his cherished children: Donald Y McIntyre III (Amy), Derek Scott McIntyre (Candice), Nikkia Ann McIntyre Gongalez (Jorge), and Lorena Skyy Alvarado (Joel). He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Betsy Chapman, Jimmy McIntyre (Susan), Jimmy Dale Lamar, Trish Miller, Angela Holmes, and Lilyanna Jones. Donald leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his eleven grandchildren: Austin, Elysia, Katelynn, Trinity, Jamareah, Donald IV, Ayden, Derek Jr, Desi, Lucas and Legend, as well as his two great-grandchildren, Adilynn and Kinsley. His beloved dogs, Lilymay and Layla, will deeply miss him.
Born and raised in Sebring, Donnie made a lasting impact in his community as a Wiccan Minister, and member of the ABATE Motorcycle Club. He was a passionate advocate for the establishment of the first Tattoo Parlor in Sebring. Known for his adventurous spirit and open-mindedness, Donnie approached life with confidence, dedication, love, kindness, and patience.
Donnie found joy in spending time with his family, especially as a dedicated Papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle and looked forward to attending Bike Week in Daytona, Florida. An enthusiast of horror and Sci-Fi movies, he also had a fascination with Paranormal Investigation. In his downtime, he enjoyed watching TV and sipping on sweet tea.
Family to receive friends on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home on Sebring Parkway in Sebring, FL, from 3:00 PM. to 4:00PM.
May his spirit ride on, his love endure, and his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
