Donald P. Gavoni

Donald P. Gavoni, age 59, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016. He was born on September 2, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Donald I. and Helen J. (Stefanoff) Gavoni. He moved to this area in 1982 from Chicago, IL.  He was an avid sports fanatic, loving the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and the Blackhawks.  He also enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.  Donald truly enjoyed hanging out with Robby and Kenny.  He enjoyed an occasional game of poker as well.  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gavoni-Sebring, FL; mother, Helen Gavoni-Sebring, FL; step-children, Robby DeRoss-Sebring, FL; Tiffany Hardy-Lakeland, FL; sister, Laura Ramirez (Eduardo)-Sebring, FL; step-grandchildren, Garrett DeRoss; Shane Hardy; Michayla Hardy; nephews, Anthony Ramirez (Carolina); Alex Ramirez (Cesia).  He is predeceased by his father Donald I. “Chief” Gavoni, brother, John Gavoni and his beloved dog Buster.  There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 27, 2016, 10:00 am, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL.  Memorial contributions may be made to Highlands County Humane Society, P.O.
