Donald Holt Caswell

"CAS", made his final flight September 21, 2015 at the Florida Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Don was born in Newport, Rhode Island - "The City by the Sea", November 20, 1933 and preceded in death by his parents, Katherine nee Holt and Albert H. Caswell also from Newport, Rhode Island. Don began his passion for aviation in his youth and later entered the U.S. Air Force (1953). While stationed in Duluth, Minnesota he met his co-pilot in life for 58 years, Beverly nee Hatch. The two retired to Sebring, Florida in 2000. Don graduated from NDSU, Fargo, ND with a BS:EEE. He was a career Active Duty/Reserve Military Officer for 35 years. Don was also a master R/C airplane enthusiast. Don is survived by his wife Beverly and four children: Dale (Robin), Daniel (Mitra), Sheila and Dane (Gary). He has four grandchildren, Chelsea (Jonathan), Samuel, Cole and Kyla. A celebration of Don's life was held Friday, September 25, 2015, 2:00p.m., at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida.
