Donald Cayce Brummitt Sr.

Donald “Don” Cayce Brummitt Sr., of Sebring, Forida, passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 85. Don was born on September 22, 1939, in Gleason, Tennessee, to the late Cayce and Lula Brummitt.

Don proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy from 1958-1962. After his military service, he sought after a career in pharmaceuticals and became a Pharmacist. During his free time, you could find Don swinging a golf club. He really enjoyed a good game of golf. Not only did he enjoy playing it, but he also loved to watch golf on tv too. Don was a big sports fan and also liked to watch football.

Don was a collector of many things, but he especially favored coins. His other hobbies included travelling and doing yard work. Above all else, Don was a family man. He was a devoted and loving husband, and spent many treasured moments with his children and grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Don is survived by his loving wife Barbra Manning; his daughter Sandra L. Cox (Heber Springs, AR); his son Donald (June) C. Brummitt Jr. (California); his brother Dale Brummitt (Gleason, TN); and his sister Glenda Holland (Memphis, TN). He is proceeded in death by his parents Cayce and Lula Brummitt.
