DONALD E. BECKMAN Donald E. Beckman, 77, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at his home. He was born November 15, 1933, to Charles Newman and Mary F. (Kitzmiller) Beckman in Oakland, Maryland, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1989, coming from Baltimore, MD. He was an Analyst with the Department of Defense and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Peacetime. He was a devoted Husband and Father, enjoyed spending time with his family and working on home improvement projects. He had a fun loving sense of humor and loved playing good natural jokes. He enjoyed reading and was interested in politics and international affairs. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn M. Beckman of Sebring; daughters, Cynthia (Bruce) Macaulay, Eldersburg, MD and Melissa Beckman, Bel Air, MD; son, Jeffrey Beckman, Baltimore, MD; sister, Clara V. Henry, Texas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert K. Beckman.
