Donald Eugene Amweg

Donald Eugene Amweg, of Sebring, Florida, passed
away peacefully on June 22, 2025, at the age of 80. He
was born on February 9, 1945, in Van Wert, Ohio, to
the late Delbert and Betty Amweg.
A proud veteran, Don served his country as a member
of the Army National Guard.

Don enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking, cars,
riding his motorcycle, and following The Ohio State
Buckeyes Football. However, more than anything, he
loved spending time with his children and
grandchildren. Don will be deeply missed by all those
who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jill Amweg, whom
he married on September 1, 1967; daughters, Kristina
A. (Joseph Schwartz) Amweg, and Kimberly (Todd)
Barnhart; his two granddaughters, Megan (Blake) Parker and Maci Barnhart; along with one great-
grandchild, Elsie Parker, all of Sebring; and one brother, Craig A (Carol) Amweg of Celina, OH.
