Dolly Ramnarain

Dolly Ramnarain, age 86 years old passed away peacefully on the morning of March 28, 2022 in Avon Park, FL, surrounded by her loving family. Dolly was born on December 24, 1935 in Trinidad, to Popo and Jingoor Mahabir who preceded her in death. She moved to Baltimore, MD and as a young adult and then to New York City where she met her husband Nelson Ramnarain, the two went on to have one son, Govindah Ramnarain (Laura) of Sebring, FL.  Dolly moved to Avon Park, Fl in 1990 and there she was able to enjoy spending time with family and caring for her two loving grandsons, Aaron and Nicholas Ramnarain of Avon Park , FL.  Dolly was blessed to be part of a large family both in the United States and abroad; she was preceded in death by her siblings Basdaye (Sonny); Samdaye (Harry); Chunka (Star); Ramcharan (Dolly); Golly (Robin); Jeewan (Leela) and her nephew Ricky (Ouma). Dolly is survived by her siblings Indra (Tony)(Trinidad); Tarie (Raj)(Florida); Vijanti (Squeeks)(Trinidad) and her nieces Prematie (Edmund), Rajpati (Pax); Rajwantee (Lincoln) and many nieces and nephews throughout Trinidad and the world.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 @ 11:00 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home 454 South Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33853.
