DOLLY A. DOUBERLEY Dolly Amelia Brown Douberley, age 90, of Avon Park, Florida, was born on July 11, 1922 in Perry, Georgia to Thomas Nelson and Mable (Resch) Brown. She was raised in Avon Park, Florida by her maternal grandparents and, her Aunt Fannie and Uncle Walter Rutherford. She graduated from Avon Park High School Class of 1940, was a Homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a true friend to all who knew her. She was also a Baptist by faith, who truly knew Jesus Christ as her Savior. She is survived by her Husband of 66 years - Harry Randall Douberley of Avon Park, FL; Children - Thomas Ross Douberley (Alice) of Sebastian, FL; Janet Douberley Cannady of Sebring, FL; Randal Wayne Douberley (Peggy) of Sebring, FL; James Kenneth Douberley (Kim) of Avon Park, FL; 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Sisters - Kathleen Brown and Mary Elizabeth Mathis. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Strickland officiating. There will be a visitation with family receiving friends beginning at 2:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
