DOLAN LUGENE HILL Dolan Lugene Hill, age 81, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Avon Park, FL. He was born in Wauchula, FL on September 27, 1930 to Clyde Lee and Gladys Irene (Adams) Hill. He retired from the State of Florida as a Correctional Officer and was a Grove owner; He was a member of Florida Avenue Baptist Church; member of the DAV and Sons of the Conferate Veterans. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed researching the Civil War and Genealogy. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Laverne Hill of Avon Park, FL and his son, Eddie Hill of Fort Rucker, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Karen Rhoden. Funeral services will be at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM, visitation will 1 hour before service time beginning at 10:00 AM.
