Densby Ray Jackson, age 87, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024.  He was born August 29, 1937 in Jack, Alabama to D.L. and Myrtlee (Jacobs) Jackson.  Densby was an electrician, member of the Florida Avenue Baptist Church, and has been a resident since 1957, coming from Elba, Alabama.  He is survived by his Wife of 66 years – Pauline Jackson of Avon Park, FL; Sons – Dennis Jackson (Gloria) of Avon Park, FL; Larry Jackson (Tammy) of Avon Park, FL; David Jackson (Lorie) of Sebring, FL; Brothers – Ronnie Jackson (Amy) of Avon Park, FL; Billy Jackson of Avon Park, FL; Clark Jackson (Patty) of Avon Park, FL; Sisters – Sara Nell Houpe of Lake Wales, FL; Dot Johnson of Bonifay, FL; Nan Runner of Avon Park, FL; 6 Grandchildren – Eired, Larry, Meghann, Erica, Densby, Justin; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.  He is preceded in death by his Parents; Brother – Mort Jackson; Joe Jackson; and Sister – Sheila Locke.  Funeral services will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM at Florida Avenue Baptist Church with interment following in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
