Debra Louise Komisar

DEBRA GROSSJUNG KOMISAR passed away suddenly at Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring, FL on March 3, 2021. Born in Miami, FL on March 11, 1955, to the late Chuck and Marjorie Grossjung, she attended Coral Park High School and the Barry University Paralegal Studies Program. She was an active resident of Sebring for over 30 years. She enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, golf and spending time with her friends. Debi recently retired to pursue her passion for painting. She was an accomplished artist, and sold many of her paintings since retiring.

Debi is survived by her loving son, Kyle Komisar, of Orlando, FL; her brother, Thomas Grossjung (Pamela), Tampa, FL; and her sister, Sybil Brady, Stuart, FL . She is also survived by two nieces, Shelley Grossjung, Hollywood, FL, and Tracey Dexter (Jimmy Glenos), Stuart, FL. She will be missed by all those who loved her.

Our mother/sister had many friends and acquaintances during her adult life and her family thanks them for their kindness and friendship. Special appreciation is sent to Good Shepherd Hospice for their loving care to Debi in her final hours. And to Deb Stewart, Jacksonville, FL, and Rose Abbott, Wauchula, FL, we send our heartfelt thanks for your loving and unwavering devotion to your lifelong special friend. A family celebration of Debi’s life will be held at a later date.
