DEBORAH RUTH WELCH Deborah Ruth Welch, 52, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010, with unexpected suddenness in a car accident. She was born in Hollywood, Florida, January 11, 1958, to Billy Gene Wilson and Betty Joanne Bollman. She worked as a bus driver for the Highlands County School Board for 11 years, and until her death, she was a local Fed Ex driver. This loved and loving wife and mother was also a wonderful daughter, sister and grandmother. As we go through this busy life, each of us striving selfishly to survive, becoming callous to the suffering of our fellows, it is remarkable and unique to meet a personality like that of Debbie Welch. She was a relentless crusader for her children and family. These words do little to ease the anguish for those who loved her. We can only bow our heads to the will of God, the Father of us all. May Deborah enjoy the eternal rewards she has earned. She is survived by her husband, Richard Welch; daughters, Angela (Jack) Scarborough of Orlando, FL and Jessica Jeffers of Sebring; sons, Kelly (Darlene) Jeffers and Joseph Calvete, both of Sebring; mother, Betty Bollman and stepfather, Frank Bollman of Lake Placid, FL; stepdaughter, Christina (Mike) Szvetitz of Opelika, AL; stepson, Wayne Welch of Lakeland, FL; brother, Randy Wilson of Liberty, SC; sister, Brenda (Wayne) Wasden of Fountain Inn, SC; stepsisters, Sandy Bollman; Julie Bollman, Kathy Macker; stepbrother, Terry Bollman; grandchildren, Jade Scarborough, Lauren Scarborough, Hannah Jeffers, Kaitlyn Jeffers, Blake Jeffers, Emily Szvetitz and Sarah Szvetitz. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with graveside services at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park immediately following.
