Deborah Theresa Simons

Deborah Theresa Simons passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 68, in Sebring, FL.  She was born in Trenton, NJ on October 24, 1955.  She has been a resident of Avon Park for the last thirteen years, moving from Lawrenceville, NJ.

Deborah was a loving mother to her children, Nicole J. Gallagher (Paul Jr) of Lake Placid, FL, and Anthony J.R. Simons (Sam Perez-Garcia) of Colorado Springs, CO. She adored her grandchildren, Allison Chiaramonti-Wade of Jacksonville, NC, Paul Gallagher, III of Lake Placid, FL, Lacey Simons of Colorado Springs, CO, and she was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marion Firth, and is survived by her sister, Sandra Jackman, and her brother, John "Butch" Firth.

A dedicated and compassionate soul, Deborah dedicated her professional life to medical billing.  She found joy in serving her community at the Avon Park Christian Church. Her passion was in bargain hunting and scoring deals while shopping, as well as attending church, studying her Bible and loved talking with her friends near and far. Deborah had a special bond with her cat, CeCe, and cherished their time together.

Deborah Th Simons was a shining example of love, kindness, and grace. Her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who were touched by her presence. May she rest peacefully, knowing that her memory will forever be cherished.
