David Sherman Tharpe

DAVD THARPE David Tharpe, 74, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at his home. He was born September 1, 1937, to Sherman and Marie (Barnett) Tharpe in Indianapolis, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1997, coming from Greencastle, Indiana. He was employed in sales and market research in the veterinary medicine field and was a member of the Sebring Municipal Golf Club and Perdue University Alumni Association. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Sebring Lakeside Golf Resort. He is survived by his wife, Lolly Tharpe of Sebring; children, Wes (Karen) Tharpe, Indiana; Roberta Tharpe, California; Julianna Dhanie, Sebring; Rachel Tharpe, Utah and Katie (Ed) Milewski, Illinois and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Sebring Meals on Wheels.
