DAVID EARL PURSER David Earl Purser, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2011 in Sebring, FL. He was born in Boswell, Oklahoma on august 31, 1933 to Johnny A. and Sylvia Mae (Elam) Purser. He was a Communications Supervisor for AT&T; of the Christian Faith; served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1982; was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, United Naval Retired Reserve Association and the Florida State Shuffleboard Association. He moved to Florida in 1953 and to Sebring in 1999coming from Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his companion, Helen L. Cruse, Sebring; daughter, Angels Darlene Sensenig, Tijeras, NM; son David E. (Chip) Purvis, Jr., Sebring; brother, J. Don Purser, Lake Livingston, TX; sister, PeggyPurser-Freeman, Granberry, TX; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 6:00 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral services Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Adams officiating. Burial in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
