In Loving Memory of David Allen Pascoe
Although David was blind, he never allowed blindness to define him. Instead, he embraced life with humor, determination, and a desire to encourage others. He was a proud advocate for the blind community and believed that blindness was simply one part of his story, not the whole story.
David's love for cooking led him to create his YouTube channel, "Cooking with the Blind Guy," where he shared recipes, cooking techniques, and a glimpse into everyday life as a blind cook. Every episode began with the words, "My name is David. I'm 100% blind, 100% of the time," a phrase that perfectly reflected his authenticity, confidence, and sense of humor.
David was an exceptionally talented artist whose creativity knew no limits. His paintings and handmade gifts were more than works of art; they were expressions of love, carefully created for the people who meant the most to him. His talent left people in awe, but his heart behind each piece made them truly unforgettable.
David is survived by his Father, Garry (Kim) Pascoe; Mother, Robin (Andre) Truett; Brother, Christopher (Cyndi) Pascoe; Nieces and Nephews; Best Friend, Kenny Dickerson; and many friends who called him family.
The family asks that David be remembered for the life he lived so well; for the meals he shared, the songs he sang, the artwork he created, the laughter he inspired, and the kindness he showed every person he met. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him.
