David John Nye

David John Nye, age 78, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 in Avon Park, FL.  He was born July 16, 1943 in Fombell, Pennsylvania to the late King Robert and Daisybelle (Bowser) Nye.  He had been a resident since 2021 coming from Kokomo, IN and was a member of the Life Church in Avon Park.

David is survived by his Wife – Barbara Nye of Avon Park, FL; Daughters – April Nye Davis (Jeff) of Kokomo, IN; Amy Tucker (James) of Avon Park, FL; Lynn Stiffler (Bill “Buzz”) of Greentown, IN; Dawn Cross (Jason) of Avon Park, FL; Sister – Margaret Young of Mt. Blanchard, OH; four Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother – William Nye; Sisters – Frances Bosley and Ruth Benjamin.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:30pm at The Life Church with the family receiving friends beginning at 5:30pm.  Memorial Contributions may be made to Life Church Building Fund.
