David Morton

David Morton, age 78, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on June 26, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Stanley K. and Matilda (Cohen) Morton. David had been a resident of Sebring since 2004 coming from Fort Myers, Florida. He was a member and also served as president of the Highlands County Stamp Club. David is survived by his wife: Barbara Morton, children: Russell (Brenda) Morton-Columbia, SC; Corey (Kathleen) Morton-Atlanta, GA; Holly Morton-Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren: Matthew and Brian Morton-Atlanta, GA; Zachary and Ingrid Bengtsson-Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by his devoted companion dog, Sparky. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
