David Wayne Kohler

David Wayne Kohler, age 55, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 in Tampa, Florida.  He was born on July 13, 1969 in Lakeland, Florida.  He worked as a telecommunications specialist.  David is survived by his sons: Joshua Kohler and Carson Kohler as well as one Grandson – Elijah Kohler.  He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Kohler; grandfather, Ernest Kohler; and mother, Linda Kohler; whose memories he carried with him through life.  David had a lifelong passion for electronics and anything on wheels, finding joy in not just using them but also fixing and maintaining them.  His skills and passions reflected in how he cared for people he loved.  He was always ready to go the extra mile to help people in need and find a solution.  David’s memory will be cherished by his family and friends who were fortunate enough to know him.  His legacy of kindness, dedication, and humor will live on in those who love him.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  A nature documentary lover, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to the Wildlife Conservation Society in lieu of flowers.
