David Anton Jackson

David Anton Jackson, age 71 passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Anton John and Winifred (Hood) Jackson. Mr. Jackson worked for General Motors, attended Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, he was the past coordinator for Highlands county Samaritans Purse Operations Christmas Child, he had been a resident of Avon Park since 1999 coming from Shreveport Louisiana. He is survived by his wife-Linda Lou Jackson of Avon Park, Florida; children-David S. Jackson (Christine) of Morrow, Ohio and Melissa Wenning (Thomas) of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister-Dana Mangano (Frank) of Avon Park, Florida; 4 grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
