Danny Joe Pelfrey

Danny Joe Pelfrey, age 74, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023.  He was born January 2,1949 in Altus, OK to Joe Edwin and Barbara Louise (DeBolt) Pelfrey.  Danny worked as a Supervisor of Natural Resources at the Avon Park Bombing Range, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, is of Baptist Faith, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1978, coming from Ft. Myers, FL.  He is survived by his Wife – Mary Pelfrey of Avon Park, FL; Daughter – Amanda Kromel (Scotty) of Avon Park, FL; Son – Jody Pelfrey (Jodi Smith) of Ft. Myers, FL; Sister – Shari Bishop (Russell) of TX; Brother – Randy Pelfrey of GA; 2 Grandchildren – Miranda and Max; and many loved Nieces and Nephews.  Memorial services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Project Vet Relief.
