DANNY RAY CARTER Danny Ray Carter, 47, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011, in Sebring. He was born February 29, 1964, to Joel Ray and Shirley Ann (Boney) Carter in Bartow, Florida, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction business and a member of Corkscrew Baptist Church in Naples, FL. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and deep sea fishing and especially enjoyed his family. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Boney Carter of Sebring; son, Jonathan Ray Carter; sisters, Bonny Lee Carter, Labelle, FL; Laura Missy Kline (Robert) of Naples and Betty BJ Faircloth (Joseph) of Naples; step-brothers, Edwin Cooper and Randall Ennis of Avon Park; eight uncles; seven aunts; eight nieces; three nephews and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Carter and grandparents, J.W. and Agnes Carter and Marvin and Emma Jane Boney. Funeral services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with the Rev. Bob Kline officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Bassinger Cemetery will be immediately following the service.
