Daniel "Danny" West

Daniel "Danny" West, age 66, passed away on Monday September 28, 2015 in Lake Placid, Florida. He was born on March 12, 1949 in Ithaca, New York. Danny moved to Highlands County in 1972 from Ithaca and was the auto collision and repair Instructor at South Florida State College at the Desoto Campus for many years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Cathy West, children, Erica and Jacob West, his mother, Jane Baldwin, granddaughters, Hailey West and Tori West, all of Lake Placid, FL, brother, Timmy West (Linda)-PA. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
