DALISAY LOYOLA CORRECES Dalisay Loyola Correces, 88, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010, in Lake Placid. She was born January 7, 1922, to Bonifacio and Maria (Manabat) Loyola in Binan Laguna, Philippines, and had been a resident of Lake Placid since 1983, coming from California. She had an Associates Degree in Elementary Education; was a homemaker and a member of Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Ramirez Correces and is survived by her sons, Gilbert Correces, Toronto, Canada; Edward Correces, Avon Park, FL and Jerry Correces, Hagerstown, MD; daughter, Dorie Roa, Lake Placid; her sister, Bernardina Loyola (102 years old), Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews. Visitation and prayer service with family and friends will be from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Pastor Burton Wright officiating. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Raphael Fernandez officiating, with interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, immediately following.
