Dakota Herman

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Dakota Scott Herman, who left us at the age of 26 on July 25, 2025.

Born on October 16, 1998, in Brockport, New York, Dakota moved to Sebring, Florida in 2014. He worked diligently in the petroleum industry as a gas tank repair specialist; a role that reflected his hardworking and driven nature.

Dakota was not only a dedicated professional, but was also a beloved son and an amazing brother. He had a passion for mudding and was always there for his family, serving as a role model and a loving brother. Dakota also had a fondness for music and even named his guitar Melissa, reflecting his gentle and creative side.

Dakota’s kindness, integrity, and hardworking spirit touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Herman, his father Leonard Schell, and his siblings Aroura Allen, Traver Allen, Ashanti Allen, and Stephon Allen.
