Daisy M. Goulbourne

Lake Placid

Daisy Murelda Goulbourne was born at Harmony Hall, St Elizabeth Jamaica on July 11, 1922.  She peacefully slept away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her home in Lake Placid, Florida.  She was one of the ten children born to Norman and Emmelin Goulbourne.  She was affectionately called by her family Queen Elizabeth due to her ladylike manners and her lovely outfits.

Daisy as a bookkeeper.  She retired from the Jamaica National Water Authority in 1978 and immigrated to Miami, Florida.  In Florida she worked at Metro-Dade Government.  Daisy then moved to Lake Placid, Florida with her sister Edna Dunn.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her numerous friends and relatives.  She was an active member of Lake Placid Church of Christ.  Her lifelong motto was “If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well.”

Daisy was a beloved sister and aunt.  Daisy is survived by her two sisters Joyce Berry, Merverlyn Lawton, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
