Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Whitney

Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Whitney, age 42, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Wauchula, FL. She was born on June 18, 1973 in Manassas, VA to Robert and Geneva (Hash) Beavers. Cindy worked as a Speech Therapist for Hardee County Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. She also served as a committee member for the American Cancer Society. Cindy is survived by her husband: Michael C. Whitney of Wauchula, FL; children: Taylor Lynn Bone of Wauchula, FL; Kasey L. Whitney of Pace, FL; Kristian G. Whitney of Pace, FL; Jake M. Whitney of Pace, FL; sisters: Monica L. (Jeff) Block of Wauchula, FL; Lori Hamilton; Kelly Thomas; and Sherry (Rick) Davis. A Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Joel McDonald, will held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Wauchula.
